Fatherless: Local Ministry Focus

Our Goal:

Our goal is to inspire and recruit families to foster and adopt the kids that are right here in the immediate Arapahoe, Douglas and Jefferson counties. We also want to provide support and resources to foster and adoptive families as well as promote to area churches and to the greater community the need for more people to care for the fatherless. Project 127  Collaborative Fostercare   Packs of Hope Emerge Family Connections

Previous Projects:

During the Month of May 2014, Grace Chapel had a specific focus on the fatherless.  In that month 165 backpacks were filled and donated to Packs of Hope.  The backpacks were for children entering the foster care system so they could have much needed clothes and supplies for living in a very stressful time.  Also, the community of people at Grace Chapel helped support Project 1.27 as they put on a picnic for foster and adoptive parents. It was like a carnival and volunteers were asked to help run games and activities amongst other things. All in all a huge impact was made!
