Women

We are better together!

For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you–that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine. Romans 1:11-12

The Bible speaks over and over to the fact that as Christians we are designed to live in community and to encourage one another in the faith. We want to provide opportunities for you to build deeper gospel-centered friendships as well. Below you will find weekly and periodic gatherings to encourage community and strengthen your faith.

We know we desperately need each other, and are without a doubt, better together!

Study Together

Women’s Bible Study | Beginning Tuesday, August 29 | 9:30-11:30 AM

What does it look like to live for Jesus? Let’s study His life and ministry and be changed by what we find. Join us for a 2-semester study of the Gospel of Mark. Our study guide entitled, “Son of God”, by Keri Folmar leads us through this narrative written to Gentiles, revealing that Jesus not only is Messiah to Jews but also to those outside God’s chosen people.

There is still room and time to register for our AM study. Our evening Bible study is at capacity.

Life Together: Moms

2nd & 4th Wednesdays | 9:15-11:15 am | Beginning September 13
Are you a mom or mom-to-be who is hungry for community? Do you long for a place where you can find Christ-centered conversation and coffee too? Then plan to join us for Life Together: Moms as we build friendships and community around God’s Word.

*Now offering a class for homeschooled elementary aged kids! We would love to have you and your homeschooled kiddos join us! The kids’ class will include time for them to complete some of their own schoolwork along with a recess break, snack, and other activities provided by the childcare team.

Meet Kate

My family as been a part of the Grace Chapel for many years. My husband and I have 3 grown kids and I joined the GC staff in 2021. My desire is to join with other sisters in lifting eyes and pointing hearts toward Jesus in whatever we do. Together with a fabulous team of volunteer leaders, my goal in ministry is to meet women where they are and lead them on their next steps with Jesus. Feel free to contact me for more information on Women’s Ministries. I’d also be glad to grab a cup of coffee with you anytime! kflora@gracechapel.org
