Weekly Devotionals

We are committing together to read the Bible, remember the Bible, and live the Bible. Not as an isolated personal project, but as a shared rhythm of grace. We believe God forms His people through ordinary, daily faithfulness. Over time, that faithfulness reshapes how we think, how we respond, and how we walk with Him.

This devotional is meant to help anchor those practices. We hope these regular devotional thoughts, will help encourage you, shape you, and develop in you a love for Jesus and a growing desire to live for Him. Even if you can’t keep up with the reading every week, we pray these devotionals still move you one step closer to Christ.

We know how easily our own instincts drift. We need Scripture close. We need it shaping our prayers, decisions, and responses. Come back weekly to find new articles that will give you  further insights into the things we will encounter in our readings ahead!

Strength Under Authority

Strength Under Authority

Wisdom and the Shape of a Rested Life Over the past two weeks, Wisdom has been personified as a woman, crying out in the streets for us to listen to. In Proverbs 2, wisdom is presented as a wise treasure to be sought after and pursued. We are told,...

From The Garden To The Wilderness

Our readings this week take us from the opening chapters of Genesis into the beginning of Matthew’s Gospel. These passages are not merely adjacent in the Bible. They are intentionally connected in God’s redemptive story. Together, they teach us...

We’re in WEEK 3

January 15-21
Join your church family in reading through God’s Word this week!

The Reading Plan

The reading plan walks us through the Bible over the course of the year.
There are two ways to read together:

Option 1: Listen through the Dwell App
Option 2: Read with the PDF version

The Scripture Memory Plan

Alongside the reading plan, we will be memorizing Scripture together as a church. Each week includes one or two verses, depending on length. Over the course of the year, this will build a deep reservoir of Scripture that shapes our prayers, strengthens our faith, and steadies us in moments of trial.

Option One: Listen through the Dwell app
Grace Chapel provides a free subscription to the Bible listening app Dwell for anyone who wants it.

  1. Go to gracechapel.org/dwell and sign up for a free account.
  2. Use that same email and password to download the Dwell app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
  3. Sign into the app with your account information.
  4. Once logged in, select Grace Chapel as your church.
  5. You will see the reading plans we have created, including the Read Through the Bible Plan.

You can listen while commuting, exercising, doing chores, or during quiet time. Listening counts. God’s Word is still doing its work.

Option Two: Read the PDF

If you prefer to read, the full reading plan is available as a downloadable PDF below.

It has scriptures week to week throughout the whole year.

You can print it, save it to your phone, or follow along digitally.

With the PDF version of the reading plan, you can read, write, or review the verses however you learn best.
