Grace Chapel has partnered with our missionary friends in Benin to start a community development project.

Outreach dollars go to a church plant in a rural village in Benin. Through the Benin partners, Asroli, Benin was chosen as the area to do evangelism to reach those who have not heard the Good News. Last July, a youth camp was provided to reach out to this community and at the end of the camp an evangelistic message went out to the village. Many accepted Christ in this village and the first Sunday had 40 new believers. Seven months later the church grew to 72.

Grace’s Mission team visited Asroli and was blessed on our second day to be invited to the church’s first baptism for nine church members. Early in the morning, we gathered at the river where Pastor Emanuel instructed on the meaning of baptism and the significance of this act for the believer. We were blessed to see 18 new believers profess their faith publicly at this time. These new believers are on fire and anxious to grow in their faith. God is blessing this village with new Christians and they are sharing for other family members and friends. The setting and the excitement the new believers had was inspiration to all of us of the outpouring love of our Lord.
