Grace Chapel is partnering with one of our supported missionary organizations, Christian World Outreach (CWO), to send relief to the people of Haiti who are suffering from the devastating earthquake that hit their country on Tuesday, January 12.
We have been in contact with Dean Yoder, president of CWO. He has indicated that besides financial contributions, the following items are needed for relief efforts:
- water and water purification equipment and filters
- bedding/sheets
- new or clean, gently-used clothing
- hygiene items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, wash cloths, etc.)
- non-perishable food (canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, powered milk, rice, etc.)
- medical supplies (no expired items will be accepted – first aid supplies, pain relievers, other over-the-counter medications)
- non-power tools (shovels, hammers, saws, etc.)
Dean asked that all contributions be dropped off at or sent to the CWO warehouse next door to their office. We are not accepting contributions at Grace Chapel. Their office is located at 12249 Mead Way Unit B, Littleton, CO 80125.
If you are dropping off a donation, please call the CWO office at 303-723-0330. If there is no answer, please call Dean's cell at 720-217-8517 (per his request).
Teams will be developed later to help rebuild. If you feel led to contribute or be involved in any way, please contact CWO directly.
